The headset is going to come loaded with Optimized Exclusive Presets. The presets will optimize your game play and make it easy to chat with your friends on the battlefield. The headset includes voice prompts that let you know when your headset is powering up or running out of battery; the voice prompts are recorded by the same voice actors who worked on the game itself. A Variable Microphone Monitor helps you to adjust the level of your voice so you don’t have to shout, and you can use Voice Morphing to disguise your voice.
The headset is designed for maximum comfort with foam ear cushions and includes Dolby® Digital 5.1 Surround Sound for a totally immersive experience. You’ll hear sounds coming from the directions they’re actually coming from—if an explosion goes off to your right, you’ll hear it to your right. If someone is sneaking up on your left, that’s where you’ll hear their footsteps. The Sonic Lens™ lets you adjust the focus of the sound radius so you can listen for sounds which are close up or far away. You can even customize the surround sound angles to just the right orientation for the best experience. The Ear Guard ™ with Blast Limiter helps to reduce the intensity of really loud sounds so you don’t get deafened while you’re playing. All in all, expensive—but pretty awesome!
