Recently on the Call of Duty forums, a listing appeared for a Call of Duty: Black Ops: Zombies app for Android. The listing disappeared shortly thereafter, though screenshots were taken beforehand which have since circulated the web and which show a “field manual” for the Android version of the Zombies game. Apparently this will feature a “fully replicated Kino der Toten and 50 levels of the cult-favorite Dead Ops Arcade.”
Zombies first showed up in Call of Duty: World at War; the level in this game was usually referred to as “Nazi Zombies,” though the official title was “Call of Duty: Zombies.” The zombies made a comeback in Black Ops, where they were more fun than ever. Ever since gamers found out that Black Ops 2 was coming out this year, many have anticipated the return of the zombies. It’s now known that the zombies will indeed resurrect in the next Black Ops game. Will there be a standalone game for Android? It’s possible, given that there has already been a standalone zombies game for Apple iOS.
