Maybe it wasn't up for long but they created a competitive playlist with MLG rules for the hardcore players

lol yh, its just one or the other. Barebones is full of noobs who cant get a kill so they use OP weapons

I felt like i have to answer to this since i'm MLG player myself, so i created account. The reason why people use those OP weapons in barebones is because lot of people who play there are MLG players so they use same weapons as in their matches, which are usually Famas and ak-74u.

If they're MLG players arn't they good enough to use different guns, non-overpowered weapons?

No, cos soon as one person decides to use a Famas, you're gonna have to sink to his level to balance out his advantage.

I still think a team can with great communications and reaction can win with out using op weapons.

NOW im NOT saying im MLG nor a high class player but I've killed many players that use Famas and Rof ak74 while I use a and m16 or some other non overused gun without Rof, they would have 25-3 and 90% of the time they encounter me they would die. I consider my self an amature still but when I get annoyed I put my spidy senses to action haha!

Yh i guess, but circumstances can change alot. Thing about OP weapons is that they can make up for lack of player skill, makes an average player good, makes a good player god. But yes i get your point, you can have a team of extremely good players applying tactics n everything. Yes they'll win but the chances of you playing against a team like this is less then a NASA satellite falling through your roof.

I think they should leave in perks (cause they will get ride of them and some players do really like them) and just add a way to remove them from the servers and allow you to filter your search to those server. That way they please both groups of people by keeping perks but allowing the people that don't like them to play without.

i'd like to see a game mode where perks wouldnt benefit a player at all but killstreaks like SR-71 should still be earned see as you did acquire a killstreak for it... it gives players a motive.

I find that not a lot of weapons are overpowered if you know what your doing. For example I could usually do decent to well if I'm using the m4a1 in mw3 or the FAD. As far as perks go I would love one that lets me listen to the enemy team. For some reason I'm always playing against parties or clans

Maybe a Perk that allows you to charge your weapon faster  (Ex: Storm PSR).

I heard there's gonna be a "spy" perk ... enemies will see you as an ally then u triple kill from behind
but rumours is rumours u never know if that's for real . . .
